Challenge

BHOP Esports came to us when their client needed to host Linux based Counter-Strike 1.6 servers for their upcoming event. They needed to be ReHLDS instances and running an average of 1000FPS. The client needed 2 5v5 servers and both with HLTV attached to them.

What LANChamp did

We had around ~7 days to get the setup optimized and configured before the event. This was our first event in bringing our physical hardware to a venue and using their infrastructure to run the event. We setup our instances to be on physical CPU cores to be able to handle the load of 2 5v5 matches going on without degrading under 1000FPS on either server. We also setup auto-HLTV recording to capture HLTV demos and then parse those through a very rough-MVP parser to build out stats and match reports.

Player leaderboard

Every player across all 24 maps, ranked by average HLTV 1.0 rating. Averages are over each player’s own maps played — see the Maps column.
